Day 3 Hanoi Started with a 6:30 am Tai Chi class on the deck of the ship followed by a kayaking excursion through a cave tunnel that led us to a lagoon in Halong Bay. We saw many monkeys on the trees and rocks. Lunch back on the ship was outstanding,

In the afternoon, we returned to Hanoi (a 3 hour bus ride). We decided to visit the renown prison that held political prisoners and the American POW soldiers.

We decided to do dinner at a local side street restaurant. Given all the food we ate, we settled for a Vietnamese sandwich and a drink, It was no disappointment... we were pleasantly surprised on how good and tasty it was.

We ended up the day at the night market. So hard not to be impulsive... For example, Adidas and Nike shoes are being sold for only $20. Bought a travel North Face pack for a great deal.
